I was thinking about opening an account of my own this weekend, but after extensive research I still don't understand what it's for.
What's it for and how does it work?

Myspace is for teenage girls.

I've just signed up.

Embarassed

Seriously though, I guess Myspace is a pretty cool thing if you're into that sort of stuff (or if you're a teenage girl). When you sign up you create your own profile where you can add information about yourself if you want. You can start your own blog or share photos and music with other users, and add your friends to your network. The music sharing thingy is quite ace which is why a lot of bands and artists have signed up.

That's a whole new world! I see what Tomi means about teenage girls!

On the publicity stakes: are you this desperate!

http://www.marillion.com/tour/support.htm

It would certainly open you up to a new audience! Many are more open minded than you think too!
Very Happy

Right, you are all added as my friends now Wink
Actually, my myspace thing is a bit messy, as I have two - one that is just me, then I had to make a new one for the music stuff as it wouldn't let me upload mp3s on my non-band one. Grrr.

I like Myspace - it's just fun. It helps when loads of your friends do it too of course.

yeah, forthcoming, i know what you mean - sounds like some kind of messiah you can't get rid of.

hey i can tell you what i do know - 'distractions' will be released early in 2006 and details of its release will be on this site in late 2005.

i got the album on right now in fact - it contains some of the most beautiful bravecaptain songs and also some of the most exciting.

there's also a cool thing happening to celebrate the completion of the singles club in the first week of january, so in a very general sense, there are some cool things on the horizon, and even better than that, the horizon is not as far away as it appeared.

peas.
