Now there's a missed opportunity! It should have been called "Alright Now"

I've been putting off buying the singles club stuff too, but have just bought the last 10 months of it now! My theory is that for my £10 I'll now get the singles club, the new album and the free extra CD, bargain!

I got 'January' back in February but decided then that I'd wait until the end of the year for the others coz I knew I wouldn't be able to find them all when I wanted to burn all twelve onto the one disc. So, I just went to buy 'February' through to 'December', only to decide I couldn't be bothered looking for the back-up disc I put 'January' on all those months ago and I'd buy it again... And no sooner had I bought all twelve when I realised I'd also left 'January' on my computer (on the offchance my PC didn't blow up before the year's end). Haha, d'oh.

Shame there's no artwork for a compilation of all twelve songs Wink

Ah, funnily enough I put a really dodgy one together in Paint the other day. It's just all twelve individual covers on a 3x4 grid. Looks awful but it serves its purpose until I make room in my CD rack for 12 singles.

in one of my more artistic moods i was pondering adapting a cd case into a sort of singles club book, like a singles club annual with all the artwork printed out and attached to the front and all the tracks on one cd... (a bit like the book version of amnesiac)
kinda defeats the purpose of them being 'singles', but i reckon it'd make a pretty cool artifact.
what you think?

if I was that skilled, and was prepared to go to that trouble, I'd do that...

but I'm not.

Skilled enough, I mean.

If it's being given away free to get to a wider audiance - would it be a good idea to get it on iTunes as a free download? They might even highlight it.....

Quick suggestion to all who want to pay something towards the album....

Buy all 12 singles club tunes.... again!

Cool

I can't agree with you on this one I'm afraid Wink

Giving away tunes for free is great if it grows the fanbase, and in that way it's a good idea. But I'm already a fan. Have been for 12 years or so now. Me getting the album for free wont achieve anything, so as a fan, I want to pay in some way, even if it's just sending Martin a book or some drugs or something!
