From the captain's blog: "We watch the band the liars do a brutal, and sometimes thrilling, set"
Are they still around?  I saw them at the Leadmill in Sheffield before their first album 'they threw us all in a trench and stuck a monument on top' was released (2002?) and really enjoyed the music even though I was only there to see the support act. I seem to remember their song 'Mr your on fire Mr' being the Greatest Thing Ever at the time.
Oh, and according to the friend who went with me, their singer "has got no arse".

| first album is ace apart from the last track, second one was shite. Live i didn't like much but they came on after an excellent kaito so they were on to a loser i s'pose! |
