I'd never heard of them til I saw them on Saturday. Very impressed, so I was. Erol Alkan then proceeded to blow my tiny mind to pieces. Was a good night!

would like to have seen 'em 'cos I do love her voice and there's an element of Cowboy Junkeys in her. Which is a v v good thing. Don't know if you've heard of Neko Case but you may though it does get a bit to country at times, Star Witness is a gem though..

well, I wouldn't call this a great track, but the next Manics singles is damn catchy, Your Love Alone is Not Enough . Dermot Leary played it so it's currently on the 'listen again' bit.

and Nina from the Cardigans is on it, got a cool voice.

Not sure of all the tracknames, but the whole Besnard Lakes album is worth checking out people.

iLiKETRAiNS - STAiNLESS STEEL

Haven't heard wall of sound distortion like that since The Boos' ~ Everything's Alright Forever. Also love the really dark songs.
Fantastic!

I saw them live, but they were the last of 4 bands and it was about 1pm, so I didn't really give them a fair hearing to be honest - wanted me bed.

Stand By Me - Ben E King. Gorgeous.
