"Natural Anthem". The Postal Service. I'm a sucker for fucked up drum&bass intro's!

Ciaran's already done tune of the day, so here's one for tomorrow. It's Scenic World by Beirut, from an album I'm growing to really love:

I went to see
Republic of Loose
last week during their first trip to London in 2 years (last time I saws them was 21st July 05, they'd had to change venue at very short notice when some damn fools tried to blow up a bus on the road next to Hoxton Square. when Che and I arrived the buse was a crime scene and the road was sealed off)
they were just woooooonderful!
so I'm offering you a spin-off from the Loose, a side project with a country twang:

Crikey. Crikey. With Sparky and mixedcases as well this board had some talented musical contributers then 'asn't it. The Feedle album (Leave Now For Adventure) is utterly beautiful and if you loved Music Has The Right To Children or M83's Dead Cities then go forth and buy it you will not be dissappointed (and if you are then your taste has changed, you've changed and you are very wrong ) _________________ Britain... "Untogether" by Belly.
I got Star the same day as Giant Steps. Given I'm posting on here over a decade later, my opion of GS should be obvious; but it says a lot about how good Star is that GS didn't completely overshadow it... _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |
