Is that off Beaster? I thought I had Beaster, but a quick check of CD shelf and I can't find it. I must have leant it to someone ages agon who never returned it. Grrr.

Which reminds me, one of my mates has still got Thirteen by Teenage Fanclub. Double grrr.

You are legally* entitled to murder anyone who has nicked your copy of this album or anyone who doesn't like it

*this law applies outside of the uk too.

BoH is frijuly8th - early show. I'd say they are like whiskeytown with the vocal sound of granddady.

Yes it is, Beaster is brill, probably the best album I can listen to all the way through between leaving John Mc Towers and sitting down at my desk at work each morning. Short albums rock!

Too right. I assume he at least likes it, he's had it long enough.

Damnation, if I don't get to hear Norman 3 soon I'm going on a shotgun rampage.

Oh, and JMC good call in the links to free early GTA - are they actually any good?

I haven't played GTA 1 for years, it was of course an excellent game all those years ago, but I'm not sure if it's still that good. It might be a bit difficult to get it to run on new computers too, I don't know. The soundtrack is excellent though.

GTA 2, on the other hand, is still awesome. Unless the outdated 2D-graphics put you off, there's a pretty good game underneath it.

Didn't Salad have that MTV woman as their singer? If they want to be today's TOTD they'll have to fight Elton John and his "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and I don't think they're going to win.

Um, if you want to challenge for TOTD don't you have to challenge on the same day?

It's a pay-per-view sensation waiting to happen certainly.

Palisades - The Wedding Present

Still kicking arse after 20 years, they fuckin' rocked Exeter last night and the ex-mrs FH finally got to wrap her arms around David Gedge.

Synthetic - Sparky.

It's right up there. Quite possibly in my top ten ever.
