I've just been in a film, it was amazing!
I got a random email from a friend who knew someone who needed a male lead for her short film and I thought I'd give it a go, and got the part (I've never been in a film before). We filmed it over the Easter weekend and start of this week.

It was so much fun! Proper crew (10 or so people) and all done using proper film on a big old camera, in black and white. It's a pretty moody story - I play a guy who's wrecking his relationship with his girlfriend and who takes far too many drugs and goes a bit mad. Lots of walking around a bedsit in my pants and wearing a dirty vest, classic stuff. They put loads of moisturiser in my hair so it looked all skanky!

I can't wait until it's all edited and so on!

It's a short arty-type film, destined to be entered into some film festivals and so on... I doubt it'll make it to the US! You never know though Wink

Hopefully it'll be put on the web... it's up to the director really though if she wants to or not. I'm all for that kind of thing personally of course!

How about sending a screening copy to NorrkÃ¶ping filmfestival? It takes place in October.

Thanks! I've passed your email on to the Director...hopefully she'll contact you. It's not edited etc yet though, and I still have a voiceover to record, but I'd hope it'd be done well before October!
