I see why you have 'Fucking Sunday' in there.

I nearly put in 'Stronger' as well, and also 'Release', but I feel you'd want to have the next one on AFM as well, although certain people can probably work it so there's a fade... Now, if only I had 'Corporation Man' without it merging into '...Monkey Beer'

I remembered from the close proximity - if I'd dug up an old thread I'd have got it right Laughing

Hope it was a good one!

I think you should give suggestions of only a few songs, so Martin can see which ones are the most popular, compiling from lots of 12s is more difficult and confusing.

ok then, I think Stronger is the best thing the captain has done; I can't believe it didn't appear on other selections.
And I love the combination of Release & Love Will See us Through because it's the genius end to his best album.
His non-album stuff was not in evidence because I am a luddite and my machine is coal-fired.

I think you should keep it fairly upbeat and 'pop-py' to grab people's attention, since it's for people who probably haven't heard any of the tunes before.

Definitely All Watched Over... as the first track as it's so catchy right from the start and keeps your interest all the way through with all the changes throughout it.

And I vote for:
Weaponized
Toytown is a drag
Good Life
Whatever Happened To The Fingertip Saint
Punk Rock

I also have a big soft spot for 'Third Unattended bag...' but that has a very different feel to it to the ones I just mentioned, so might not fit in so well on a compilation.

Very Happy

I'm afraid I'm no expert on the bravecaptain back catalogue as I only have the albums, but I reckon it should include follwing:

Whatever happened to fingertip saint?
I don't know any better
Jerusalem
All watched over
Into thin air
Good life
January
Sound of witchita
Stand up and fight
Betsi's beads
Monk jumps wall
Third unattended bag

Good heavens, that makes 12.
