you could check out
Hôtel Du Septième Art
It's central, cheap, clean and has televisions.
I stayed there a couple of years ago after it was recommended as a good budget hotel in The Observer. It's all black and white and has movie posters and stuff everywhere. I liked it. |

Hotel de Nesle is ace...

it's a hippyish, quite unusual hotel. it;'s fairly cheap i think. check out the rooms - dead romantic if youre looking for that type of thing. the rooms each have painted murals on the walls. and the owner are very friendly.
and it's really well situated. in st germain/latin quarter area, not far from notre dame and very near lots of really good bars. my fav paris bar is Bar Dix (near Odeon metro).

Thank you for the tips...I might come back to this thread for the romantic stuff, but for now it's mother and aunt going...aunt is vising on Thursday from Iran...WOOHOO!

Not really, in their group yeah but that's mostly because I didn't like the other teams.
Nationalities don't really concern me that much...if I had I would've supported the USA too.
