Would anyone recommend them?
I know John Mc was disappointed with them live and the only reviews I've seen of them have been bad, yet I'm still interested somehow....
?

well i love that album. 'the warning' is my favourite track, and 'over and over' is the biggest tune in my dj set at the moment - it's a dancefloor filler.
this is a warning i'll spell it out for you
hot chip will break your legs
snap off your head
hot chip will put you down
under the ground
you can listen to the lp on their website anyway. |

i think hot chip are ace. I saw them at lollapalooza and they were the best surprise of the weekend. Both of their albums are worth listening to. The new one especially. boy from school, over and over and the warning my favourite songs. _________________ Martin O'Neill's Claret And Blue Army |

Much like Sparky I believe Over and Over to be a top floor-filler. On the other hand, the disco-tastic tunes don't seem to be translating that well to the live arena if I am to believe what some who have seen them live have told me _________________ www.myspace.com/storkboychoons

It's worth 8 quid of anyones money, I'm particularly enjoying Arrest Yourself right now.
Thank fuck I bought it instead of The Killer's travesty of an album!

That new killers stuff is such an unbelievable Born To Run pastiche, lyrically, structuarly, musically in every way it's just sad. What's the story with them It's like with their last album they said lets be new order, and now they've said lets be springsteen..what next? _________________ www.myspace.com/storkboychoons
