America by razorlight.

I've gone from thinking its shite to it now being the shitest guitar record since anything released by travis. Its painful. Its getting on my tits j cup style. And above all its arse.

Off to calm down now...

It's about time a thread like this came along! Very Happy Now, who's going to do the honours and create the annual "Album Of The Year" thread this time? Exclamation

Arse tune of the week for me is "Set The Fire To The Third Bar" by Snow Patrol featuring Martha Wainwright. Painful to listen to, even for someone who usually likes SP.

Arse Book = Good News, Bad News by the creator of Spooks (can't be bothered to look his name up).

Generic-me-do!

There is so much arse stuff I don't know where to start.

New Rave, all that Klaxons/ The Horrors type stuff. Conceited trend-setting muck. No soul

I like the Zutons, at first I thought they were just meat and potatoes indie but I saw them at at festival in the summer and discovered that they were meat and potatoes indie with a large helping of delicious gravy. Some of the songs are singalong-tastic, they always have a bit in the show where the lead singer starts playing along on an extra set of drums and I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. Plus, until I release my long awaited solo album, the woman who plays the saxophone for them has the best legs in pop.

Yeah The Zutons aint all that bad at all, I have to agree. They have some insidiously addictive pop-songs that I often find myself nodding along to unaware of who they are until someone tells me, I don't have any of their albums you see.

Seriously though, everytime I hear them it just reminds me of The Seahorses, which can't be a very good thing at all Shocked .

I'm sure I've posted many a tune of the day you have hated Laughing

I love The seahorses

ha ha ha ha

nah I agree with ya on that, they were unbelievable shite

My arse tune of the day is the u2/greenday "the saints are coming" which is a cover version of an older song

It's earnest video hypothetically showing the us army being redeployed from iraq to new orleans is so hamfisted and ill-conceived its beyond a joke. bono could have sent his own helicopters in anyway if he really gave a shite, him with another fucking wallet-raping best of out again this christmas and ducking paying his taxes to the irish government. he makes me sick.
