Anyone notice a similarity to a certain Boos tune?
Though, to be fair, they both could have bit it from Love... Nice to see U2 trying to make decent music again at any rate. They've been pretty awful for a decade now.
How you all been, by the way? _________________ "Even I know the solution: love, music, wine and revolution..." (magnetic fields)

Can't spot the tune.
Verse melody is the old subterranean homesick blues chestnut.
Most of it sounds like Queen.
I like Queen. |

Can't spot any similarity either... First listen, can't say I'm impressed. But I've never really liked U2, not even when it was okay to do so... _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

nice catch with the verse Martin, total Dylan!
I was thinking early early.
Like, the chorus from GOYB sort of aligning with the chorus of "Sometime Soon She Said"
It's a little bit nitpicky.
And if Bono's sitting around listening to Learning to Walk, then he's a lot cooler than I suspected! _________________ "Even I know the solution: love, music, wine and revolution..." (magnetic fields)

it reminds me of Gloria Estefan's
Get On Your Feet
...just the title, that is, I haven't heard the U2 song yet, luckily
actually, someone else remarked on teletext that it was a Dylan rip off
would we even be discussing this if Boner wasn't popping up for photo ops with politicians?

Good band.
I am a little partial to some U2 as well. Elbow's version of Running To Stand Still knocks spots off the '2 however......
That comedy thing over Xmas with Bono as the son of God was really funny! _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

I think I prefer U2 in overblown, windswept mode, his voice sounds rubbish on this. I like the cover of the album though. |

Bono isn't even the best singer in U2 |
