from the Go With Yourself review:

The album opens with 'The Monk Jumps Over The Wall' it's a two minute affair but in that short time Carr & co manage to use every instrument under the sun. It's a optimistic start and Gorwel Owen has made a considerable improvement to the song which was previously available on the Keith Cameron/XFM compilation 'Carve It Up'.



er, anyone know anything about this XFM compilation? first I've heard of it Confused

yeah, it's a little bit of a cock up there. The compilation was for, I think, Keith Cameron's show on, I think, GLR, but I know for a fact it was called 'The Carve Up' - came out around 1999 and had some great tracks on it. In fact, the first time I heard Low was on there, plus arab strap doing a black sabbath tune and some dj scud (handy for 'where is my head').
