Yeah, Queen weren't
that
terrible, but I have to admit, they made some really crappy tunes as well as a couple of good ones...
Blur aren't that bad either, in fact they're still one of my favourite bands. Okay, Damon Albarn can be quite an asshole sometimes, but he's not the only one. Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Jarvis Cocker, etc etc... Blur's second album "Modern Life Is Rubbish" is a real classic and everyone should buy it! You probably don't have any of their albums and have only heard 'Girls & Boys' and 'Parklife' on radio...
Anyway, I thought that we were supposed to enter those bands in alphabetical order... _________________

think alphabetically would have been too taxing for me so I'm glad it went out the window :>
As for Blur, they have done a lot of good tunes. But the fact that they are million sellers while Martin can't even tour is just plain fucking WRONG!

Well yeah, you're right about that Kris... I think we could list all the bands and artists on the planet because I still think that The Boo Radleys and Bravecaptain are the most underrated things ever. _________________

uuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm,
Teenage Fanclub,
despite having nearly all their albums, i do find them terribly dull.
It's the sort of music i put on in the background whilst tidying my bedroom,

i like blur but they are overrated. modern life + parklife are pretty good but whilst i like 13 + blur the better moments are pavement type rip offs really. and coffee + tv has to go down as more of a video is loads better than the song moment than any other song.
but no jarvis is not an arsehole and i don't think the brothers gallagher are either. albarn is a bit though, but fair play to him for putting the final nail in to the ralph lauren terrace chic coffin!!!! |

ELBOW,
I can't express how underwhelmed i am with their new album. A grave disappointment after Asleep in the Back,
I do think some bands are just being "alternative" for the sake of the word. Where are the tunes???????????
I'm glad they told us where the choruses are because I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.
It really makes me wonder why I'm wasting away in an office, clicking a mouse 7 hours a day with 14 unrecorded songs sitting in my drawer, whilst bands like this are making "music" (in the loosest possible sense of the word), for a living,

ah... you did me a favour there then.
I had been underwhelmed by Asleep at The Back, but was thinking of giving them another shot. _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,
