Lazarus, geddit? er, anyway...
(ignore the subject line, in case you think I'm comparing Bravecaptain, or, in particular, the Boos to The La's (well, the latter did do a cover of There She Goes, but anyway...)
Are there any bands you could compare The Boos or Bravecaptain to? even as a reference for when describing them to someone.
I tried describing AFM to someone recently, and think I picked the wrong words... |

I'd compare the boo's to The Beatles, but a little more in spirit than sound.
And I'd compare Brave Captain to the boo's, but a little more in spirit than sound.

you could try badfinger for the boo's but that usually raises questions of its own (which is, i guess, part of the point).
as for bc, i find super furries usually suffice |
