was being given out as a top promotional thingy by British Sea Power last night. This was enough to convince me that they would be one of the most thrilling live perfomances of the year. And they were!!!
Far too many UK indie influences too mention (ok, i'll try, bits of joy division, bowie guitar moments, echo + bmen, smiths, ride, kitchens...) but all of them worked. Nice backdrop of top green leaf vegeation, and respect to their stage matching clobber.
Decent support from The Tenderfoot who had domino records influences combined with Nick Cave and Jonathon Fire*eater. Which is pretty good.
