				  | The last time I went to see Martin Grech he did two nights at the Metro club on Oxford Street, first night acoustic, second night electric. I hadn't seen him acoustic before though I'm a big fan of his, since a certain 'Che' started sending me texts saying 'Martin Grech is the way forward' in 2002! It was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, a most extraordinary experience, in fact at one point I remember thinking that it really didn't get any better than that. He has a most beautiful voice, from the softest most subtle inflections to a full on scream when he's backed by his excellent band. His own music is first and foremost emotional and he's a dynamic live performer.
Check out his website to hear him, there's a download single available there called 'I am Chromosome', not his best work in my opinion but worth a listen. http://martingrech.co.uk/

				  | because he makes me cum. i'm listening to him now.
in fact, almost spookily, i came to mention him but you beat me to it.
the boy is a frighteningly emotive genius.
+ he has nice nail varnish.
i'll send you some tunes later.

				  | Grech, great surname, maybe you can hit it off at the show, get together and then one day get married, then you'll be Grech also. Reason enough. L&P _________________

				  | set,
if that was last comment was aimed at me,

i'd like to confirm my total heterosexuality right here and now,
and that i have no interest in 'hitting it off' with martin grech.

in fact girls and music are the only things that keep me going.

For a name like Grech, you'd bend it a little, open your mind and welcome a brand new beautiful name!

				  | Well, there are other ways to change your name too... If I desperately wanted to be Tomi Grech (sounds quite ok by the way) I would definitely try all the other ways before marrying Martin Grech. _________________

I have no idea who he is, and on second thought, even though it's a good name it's not really worth changing sexual identity for (for Paul I mean). L&P

				  | Having seen Martin Grech five times now I don't think it's fair to call him pretentious, his humility and sincerity are really evident, particularly at the acoustic gig I saw where he talked to the audience much more. I can see that his 'histrionics' as you call them wouldn't appeal to everyone though! | |

				  | maybe I'm judging him unfairly - but I first heard him providing the soundtrack to the 'artistic' section of the versace exhibition at the v&a museum with all these clacking grannies disucssing how resplendent or whatever the whole thing was. | |
