from memory, hope someone else can fill in my gaps:

got to get out of these smoky clothes
rid myself of this camden filth
drinking at the mixer with mark and keith
all my friends are here with me
adam plays guitar in a rock and roll band
catalina works for the mtv
sarah likes eggs and pigs are sound
no idea do dee dum do but it's home today

staying at pete's with the reverend wendy
baker's at the studio waiting for me
court and sex and drugs and wit
all don't mean that much today

you'll never touch the magic if you don't reach out far enough

that's reminded me how much i love that song. nice work.

not sure about the other bit, but I think the last bit is "home for tea"

"Sarah likes eggs and digs our sound (pigs are sound is better though)
Andy does speed but he's home for tea"

"if yur (not English), then why do u listen to it?"

What does this mean? Why do you keep changing your sign in name when you just write the same stuff each time? I can spot one of your posts a mile off. Just wonderin' is all...

Why do you ask such silly questions if you're not even logged in?.....maybe if you tell me who you are, then we'll be able resolve this matter once and for all......no, perhaps you're too ashamed or embarrased to reveal yourself over the messageboard.......if you want, you can "PM" me your identity so that you don't embarrass yourself over this messageboard. Wink......no? too bad.

Alright, take it easy!

I love this song. Lovely and carefree.

Is it definitely 'the reverend wendy', doesn't the name have 3 sylabals in it? I always wondered about the 'Andy...' line too, glad I now finally know!

On an amusing note, one of my friends who's first language isn't English always used to think that the first line of Brian (Bryan?) Adams' seminal hit "Summer of '69" was: "I got my first real sex-dream". Brilliant. Cool

'if yur (not English), then why do u listen to it?' is a really stupid comment though, at least, that's how it comes across.
