There was a time when companies and organisations would move production to third world countries when the company was having problems making profits to save on personnel costs.

This year there have been reports about organisations (like the post here) and companies such as SonyEricsson making huge profits and still not hiring...

My frustration and anger is turning into depression soon.

Love & Peace

But surely if companies like Sony need to hire people they would, if they're not hiring people then it probably means they have enough employees already.

No, they don't hire (at least here) to save money. They put more work on people who are already there. A national trend here, lots of people don't have jobs, the rest work too much.

Love & Peace

Spot on. Been a trend here for sometime that lots of people end up doing at least 1.5 peoples jobs.... i've had spells like it but largely i can't complain, my brother however has far too much to do and its an effing disgrace that people like him with young families n that have to work so hard for a living these days.

I've long been pee'd off with the whole treat workers like crap trait of these days (the uk has its biggest poverty gap since the 1890s now and workers rights have been eroding since the 1980s...) but seeing as the last time I was on strike and on picket line the majority of the apathetic bastards still crossed the line i guess most get what they deserve!

Still up the revolution!
