Jump into the fire - LCD Soundsystem. Aces Aces Aces Aces Aces Aces.
Whenever Zabrinski say their album is out, wait about another 14 months and it may finally happen

I heard 'North American Scum' on the radio last week and wasn't too impressed. Not too sure about this either, he sounds a bit like Bono and that scares me as I'm sure at the end of the track I'll be asked to hand over money to help poor kids. I hate poor kids.
Anyone got 200 spare words on the new Keane single they could lend me? I've been trying to think of something, anything to write all week and can think of nothing. The press release describes the lead singer as "arguably the greatest voice of his generation". That's an argument I'd be interested in hearing. |

Two hundred positive words or two hundred negative words? I'm afraid that in the case of "A Bad Dream", even someone like myself who quite likes Keane would struggle to find positives.
New Zabrinski album? Did "Ill Gotten Game" ever come out? _________________ "It's too beautiful to stay inside..." |

I really like them both. Just got tickets to see them in Manchester in March. Anyone else going?

Lemon Tree by Fool's Garden, that was one beautiful song! I think it's a cover but anyway.

Cut Here by the cure.
Such a bittersweet song, I'd never really paid it much attention before. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

Deus Ibi Est by Isobel Campbell and Scary Voiced Bloke. I've listened to a lot of rubbish tunes recently but this is lovely. But not as good as whatever this tune is on the radio right now...what is it...its usurped Isobel Campbell....need to wait to the end of the song to find out...apparently its CSS with 'Lets Make Love And Listen To Death From Above". Rubbish title. Ace tune. |

I am digging The Good The Bad And The Queen album today.
Not an album of singles, but an warm, atmospheric, cinematic affair with some great bass going down.
That and - dare I say it - the new Jamie T single which I think is a cracker (though I hated the last two). |
