Yeah, this place was the pinnacle of the internet experience for me, until "proper" social media came and ruined everything. I miss old fashioned forums like this that had no shady algorithms and all sorts of annoying "features".

But I'm doing pretty good now that I've somewhat recovered from a fairly nasty case of covid. So much has changed since the golden age of the bc forum, and although I am not the same boy that I once was, I'm still here, always closely following the captain's latest ventures.

Hello all. This place helped me stay sane while working in an endless number of mind numbing temp jobs. For that I am eternally grateful.

The main page of the site says "the forum is still active, and will most likely remain so for as long as there is an internet". I'm glad it's still here and Sparky didn't sell it to Elon Musk.

Just checked in here for the first time in a long time after seeing the Boos are coming to Southampton next year. Imagining how excited I would have been all those years ago, although if Martin was still involved I would still be pretty excited even now.

Anyone been keeping up with Sice and co since they reformed? Or Martin for that matter? I kinda lost track after the bravecaptain name was dropped.

Turned 40 this year! Where did the time go? Echo what everyone else says, spending time chatting with you guys on here felt like a simpler, more innocent time.
